    We are seeking a Consultant to work on our small team of senior level consultants to implement our software at Property and Casualty Insurance Carriers.

    Our Professional Services organization includes business analysts, functional consultants, and technical integration consultants who work together to implement our applications at customer sites. Our projects are complex and can last from three months to two years depending on the specific customer requirements. During a project, the team will identify customer business requirements, identify solutions leveraging OOTB capabilities coupled with configuration to meet those requirements, and integrate our application to other internal or external systems.

    Our consultants are expected to spend the majority of their time on site with the client business and technical teams. This is primarily a Japan based role but there may be an opportunity to work in other regions that we operates in.

    Our applications are highly configurable to the requirements of each client, and require a thorough understanding of the objectives and requirements of the client. Key activities for consultants include:

    【Job Description】
    -Along with Business Analyst(BA) review, analyze and evaluate business requirements in details for the design, development and implementation.

    -Ensure the design is aligned with target Enterprise Architecture and all other architecture guidelines. Identified technical limitations are discussed with the BA for resolutions, in order to find the best compromise between business requirements and design complexity, to maximize performance, reduce cost and implementation risks.

    -Once the design is completed, SE actively supports and coordinates the development, technical solution implementation.
    -Overlooks development of test strategy, determine test environment requirements and tools, and manage change requests.
    -Executes system integration test (SIT), coordinate defect investigation and fix during SIT

    -Prepare user acceptance test(UAT) environment, data and support UAT

    -After successful completion and approval of SIT/UAT, implement changes to production and monitor.

    * HCP Profiling:
    - Identifies, profiles and cultivates collaborative relationships with KOLs as scientific peers and advocates
    - Maintains KOL profiling and visitation records
    - Nominates HCPs and provides justification for their consideration in various Medical and/or Company-sponsored activities (i.e. advisors, investigators, speakers, authors, etc.)

    * HCP Interactions
    - Engages with influential members of the medical community (KOLs) and other HCPs within an assigned territory and therapeutic area (TA) to deliver comprehensive scientific education on disease states, therapeutic options and research advances of strategic importance to the Company
    - Communicates information to HCPs regarding Company-sponsored Medical initiatives and research opportunities (Medical programs, sponsorships, grants, etc.) and liaises with HCPs regarding these activities as per Local affiliate regulations
    - Gathers and internally communicates relevant opinions, expert knowledge, competitive insights and research and development concepts from KOLs/HCP to advance and influence the strategic direction of the Medical Affairs department and Company

    * Medical Education and Information
    - Identifies, develops and implements local, regional and national medical programs to fulfill unmet medical educational needs, to advance research and disease state knowledge, and to ensure safe and appropriate use of Company therapeutics
    - Provides training to HCPs (i.e. contracted speakers)
    - Establishes and manages scientific/clinical relations with key customers, including HCPs, nurses, and patient support program nurses
    Develops, together with the respective key customers (e.g., in Advisory Boards), tools that help care givers improve patient care
    - Actively participates and represents Medical Affairs and the Company at medical educational events, programs, meetings and conventions; including medical exhibit booth staffing, congress scientific program coverage and reporting, internal medical meeting development and execution (e.g., Advisory Boards), gathering intelligence on competitors and critically observing Company-sponsored speakers, etc.
    - Provides accurate, unbiased, balanced, and timely answers to requests for information about our products to healthcare professionals and decision makers
    - Provides, upon request, information about products under development to health care professionals and decision makers
    - Internal and External Training / Presentations
    - Maintains and demonstrates comprehensive and in-depth scientific knowledge of an assigned TA, including disease states, research advances, approved treatment options and investigational therapies
    - Accountable for internal training of existing team members and new employees working in the specific TA. Accountable for the continuous medical education of the team to ensure a high level of knowledge.
    - Delivers external trainings / medical presentations to Managed Care organizations, government organizations, patient groups, support service etc., to ensure a high level of knowledge
    - Develops and improves patient support services in collaboration with the home care provider

    * Clinical Trials:
    - Assists in the selection of clinical study sites for Company-sponsored clinical trials, in collaboration with R&D and GCO
    - Works closely with the other relevant team members (both internal/external) to coordinate phase IV clinical projects in the field and facilitates the scientific discussions with investigators on of ISTs conduct as well as following publication plan and assist in site selection for R&D clinical projects
    - Acts as a resource and liaison for internally communicating the scientific rationale for ISTs that are aligned to the Medical Affairs strategy

    * Safety / Compliance:
    - Receives adverse event reports and transmits such reports internally according to Company procedures

    SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
    - Leading overall chemical manufacturing & control (CMC) related activities for product development in Japan
    - Achieve NDA (including sNDA) submission and approval on schedule in Japan through collaboration with global scientists
    - Provide scientific/technical expertise to fulfill clinical development plan on schedule in Japan
    - Make a scientific contribution for product life cycle management to enhance the values of products in Japan market
    - Support due diligence review of external opportunities for in licensing of molecules and/or technologies in line with Company’s strategic goals


    KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    - Act as a key person to coordinate CMC and/or regulatory science issues between global and Japan so that appropriate solutions are provided
    - Be responsible for preparation of AAF, QOS and module 3 for Japan NDA submission
    - Be responsible for preparation of AAF and STED for device registration
    - Be responsible for preparation of answers to CMC inquiries from PMDA
    - Closely contact with global CMC/molecule leader so that the most updated CMC status/information is shared
    - Assess regulatory compliance of materials and their specifications (API, excipients and product) in advance for initiating Japan project
    - Provide key information of CMC regulatory guidelines to global counterpart so that appropriate CMC strategy is developed
    - Collection and share scientific, technical-related and specialized information from inside and outside resources
    - Identify critical scientific/technical issues well in advance to avoid or minimize the risk for development plan
    - Develop and expand active communication link within Japan project team to initiative good collaboration
    - Collaborate global business development regarding new licensing-in compounds on CMC area

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Education / Language required:
    - A degree (BS/MS/PhD) in a scientific field or equivalent/higher specialized knowledge
    - English and Japanese fluency: good verbal and written skills mandatory

    Professional Skills and Experience required:
    - 5-7 years or more experiences for CMC NDA dossier preparation (CTD module 2, module 3) and supplemental NDA (partial change, CTD module 2 and 3)
    - Good professional experiences in CMC activities (e.g. formulation development, analytical development, API and DP manufacturing etc.)
    - Knowledge of ICH guidelines and GMP, especially requirements for regulatory submissions
    - Familiar to global pharmaceutical product development processes
    - Business knowledge
    - Experience of leading global projects
