Roles and Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership for testing of mid－size and large projects, Single Point of contact who will represent test team also Supports test project management with functional oversight
Adopt transformation initiative and drive the same within the project boundaries
Prepare and review Test plan, Automation strategy and test data management
Integrate tools, processes and methodologies into a cohesive unit
Create / Review the scope of the testing required for a project based on the requirements document.
Create /Review Estimation and Obtain sing－off from stakeholders
Review Test Plan and Test Strategy and Drive Test project planning
Work assignment to the test team and ensure timely completion of work
Drive Test design and Test execution effort for on time completion
Review Test Team deliverables and ensure sign－off from relevant stakeholders
Review and Analyze Testing Metrics also present the same to project stakeholders
Communication and reporting within test team, QA Leadership and project stakeholders.
Identify risk and create Mitigation plan. Closely work with Test Program managers for timely identification of risks.
Drive innovation and continuous improvements.
Communicate weekly reporting with leadership team and project stakeholders.
Review automation strategy and automation planning
Review Automation Plan and help in defining the roadmap
Maximizing the productivity of the project team by installing an effective development environment, establishing programming, design, and other technical standards, training team members, and providing advisory and trouble－shooting support
Review implementation of Testing techniques （ Risk Based Testing, OATS etc）
Required Skills and Experience
Over 10 years of experience in IT experience in STLC（Software Testing Life Cycle） and various testing methodologies
In－depth knowledge in Insurance domains
Excellent interpersonal relation, communication skills and client expectation management
Proven record on leading test efforts, Test Planning, estimation and team management
Strong Communication ＆ Interpersonal Relationship Skills
Quantitative management of projects/ programs
Financial Management and Demand Management skills
Resource/ Team Management skills with focus on Goal setting and achievements
High level Applications ＆ Domain expertise with good understanding of Test methodologies and techniques
Expertise in QA metrics, Reporting and communication
Vendor Team management experience.
Preferably has good understanding of program management for Agile and DevOps
Business level of Japanese and English is mandatory.
