Business Process Architect

Summary of Responsibilities:
Business Process Architect position has wide responsibilities.
The person will increase organizational effectiveness by mapping and modeling the business structure to its vision and strategic goals. Another responsibilities includes the establishment of business architecture tools and methodologies that are implemented into areas such as portfolio management, strategic planning and performance monitoring connect business designs with IT architecture. The person will report into EO&VP to Business Analysis Practice.

Principal Responsibilities:
●Business Process Re-engineering Plan and Roadmap
-Provides overall direction, guidance and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy
-Acts as a SME in business architecture framework development, tool suite selection and design and methodology development
-Leads BA department managers throughout the development of a business architecture plan.
-Discerns business trends and identifies their implications
●Business Process Re-engineering Execution
-Conducts reviews and analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of business architecture applications
-Constructs flow charts to describe business processes and development of precise steps and processing logic across the business architecture design
-Builds business cases for enterprise level, high impact projects or high cost expenditures
-Leads programs with significantly complexity overseeing multiple tracks and/or involving multiple business areas
-Offers constructive ideas, influences and negotiates on high impact, high risk, and highly complex situations
-Performs statistical and qualitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling techniques
●Partnership and Direction
-Coaches management in the use of business architecture methodology and tools
-Partners with IT architecture team in developing an IT framework that aligns with the business plan
-Partners with program managers in defining programs that will deliver changes required by the business plan
●Leadership and Communication
-Ability to lead and motivate project team members that are not direct reports as well as providing work direction to lower-level staff members
●Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:
・Minimum 13 year experience in a related fields such as business architecture, enterprise architecture, strategy planning or business process re-engineering.
・Extensive knowledge of systems architecture, process modeling and excellent analytical ability, consultative and communication skills
・Proven track record with strategic planning, program management and business architecture concepts and methodologies
・Communication and program management skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT Management and staff
・Working experience in international company using English as a reporting language
・Ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge to achieve quality improvement
・Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Japanese and English
・Develop constructively solution plan with people from diverse culture
・A sharp eye for detail
・MBA preferred
・TOEIC; minimum of 900
