Primary Job Functions:
The position involves managing the company’s investments in operating and under construction solar PV power plants in Japan. The role includes a mix of financial,technical and commercial functions including business strategy & planning, portfolio management, financial analysis, investor reporting, day to day operational oversight and reporting, contract administration and documentation, and environmental/regulatory compliance. To the extent that the company has arranged or wishes to arrange debt financing, the asset manager will actively support the
process of arranging debt financing and be responsible for ongoing reporting requirements. The asset manager will also be responsible for overseeing local third party accounting firms, consultants, and related parties involved in the company's investments. The role will also involve liaising with HQ and handling all investor inquiries. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams.

Essential Responsibilities:
· Creating and managing annual and quarterly budgets for invested assets(operational and financial);
· Annual, quarterly and monthly performance reporting (operational and
financial);
· Financial analysis, market studies and industry standard reporting (i.e.
variance reporting, discounted cash flows, IRR’s, etc.);
· Assistance with arranging debt financing and ongoing administration/notifications with debt providers;
· Assist in the due diligence and underwriting of potential acquisitions;
· Create and maintain financial models for existing solar PV assets and
potential acquisitions;
· Contract administration (e.g. billing, notifications, warranties etc.):
§ Power Purchase Agreements
§ Land Lease Agreements
§ EPC contracts
§ O&M contracts
§ AM and/or Sub-AM contracts
§ Loan Agreements
§ Other relevant contracts/agreements
· Site and plant management that is outside of the scope of the O&M
agreement;
· Handling insurance claims/compliance in event necessary;
· Maintaining environmental compliance of portfolio and working closely
with compliance team;
· Support investor and community relations;
· Handling regulatory and compliance paperwork and requirements;
· Any additional responsibilities that are necessary for the role;

Other:
· The compensation package is competitive and will be determined based on market levels and candidate experience;
· The compensation package includes a base salary and discretionary
bonus;
· The candidate will be required to travel domestically and may have
opportunities to travel internationally
