1. Position Summary
As part of a country Services organization, manages one services project or several unrelated services projects driving customers value realization. Execute the project（s） within the defined targeted outcomes, such as financial, schedule, scope and quality, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Act as key point of contact for Sales, Presales, Services Management and the customer for the project.
Works under self－management to manage projects of medium to high size and complexity that could be
part of a program.
2. Duties and Responsibility
Drive Value Realization
Work with Sales Account Manager and Engagement Management to understand the Value
identification and planning processes
Drive the project team and Customer to implement a solution that allows the customer to
realize the value
Collaborate with the customer to ensure agreed KPI’s are tracked and met
Initiate and Execute a Project Structure and Governance Model
Manage the Project throughout the Project life－cycle leveraging Siemens Delivery Framework
Manage the project schedule to ensure on time delivery
Ensure the planned project communications on all levels including escalation procedures and
project progress reporting
Manage contract acceptance and final project handover
Perform project reviews and retrospectives regularly and feed the results and lessons learned
into project and organization
Manage the Project Team and Project Financials
Demonstrates a thorough professional know－how in Project and Program Management, based on practical, demonstrable experience including a thorough understanding of Project and Program Management practices and standards.
Contributes to process improvement for Project and Program Management, providing feedback on the use of processes, systems and tools in real world situations.
Focuses on mentoring others to improve Project and Program Management delivery across the business, proactively sharing knowledge to transfer expertise.Capable to interact with small and large clients at all levels of the organization
Knows main communication techniques （e.g. asking questions, active listening） and applies them consciously;
Communicates effectively with business partners by using appropriate language and vocabulary according to the purpose and context.
Understand the impact of own communication style on others
Ability to communicate with project team and global team with multi－cultural backgrounds
Ability to deal with purely Japanese customer behavior
General knowledge about overall PLM process and systems
Good understanding of project management methodology, ability to define and implement
4. Education and Experience
Preferred is a technical degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent knowledge
Recommended is a certification in Project Management from Project Management Institute
（PMI）, International Project Management Association （IPMA） or equivalent international body
on a level suitable for this role.
Languages: English, Japanese
Preferred is experience on project management/leader of PLM/PDM（or similar type of a
commercial product） deployment at mid ~ large size customer
5 years or above working experience will be a minimum, among which, 3＋ years direct
relevant experience as project manager
Experience in multicultural environments is preferred, along with a number of different
positions occupied covering different levels of the business function area
The experience related to automotive industry or other mechanical product company.
