Major Tasks

• Set project objectives and achieve business goals by the delivery date which is defined in a contract made between us and a client company.
• Maintain a constructive relationship with top managements of client insurance companies
• Responsible for managing project staff in general.
• Serve as a liaison with project managers and with steering committee of clients. Summarize project problems and status. Exchange information by representing company
• Understand impacts of clients’ business and project’s on both of their business results. Manage all the changes in a unified manner. Provide coordination to submit outputs without interfering with their regular business.
• Manage all the changes made on program instruction, scope, advantage, cost, and timing, while minimizing the financial/cost risks.
• Guarantee appropriate technology/architecture of each program used in our package products.
• Coordinate/manage dependencies among architectures of programs that are to-be-developed and that are already defined by subordinates.
• More than three years experience in project management is proffered. Desired to have experience in managing multiple projects.
• Preference will be given to applicants with experience in managing project of life/non-life insurance system.
• Preference will be given to applicants with experience in working for insurance system. Applicants with experience in working for system department other than insurance company will have an advantage as well.
• Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge/experience in development of our Integral product such as SMART400, Life/J, Polisy/J, Life/400, Life/Asia.
• Excellent communication skill (conversation, reading & writing) both in Japanese and English is essential.
